A souvenir from Kyoto

Currently doing a semester abroad at Kansai Gaidai University. During orientation week I had the option to tour Kyoto. While I do have pictures and short video clips of the tour, I mainly wanted to upload these pictures here first before showing my friends elsewhere on the net.

This is an Airou phone charm that is supposedly sold only for the Nara area, but I was able to find a shop with it near Kiyomizu Temple. Check it out!

Nothing design related, but still a big interest of mine.

See, a pastime of mine is browsing The Cutting Room Floor Wiki (tcrf.net) and reading up on all the stuff dev teams left in their games. Sometimes there’s some interesting tidbits here and there, but occasionally, you come across an article showing off some of the amazing ideas that got somehow left off the table. I am currently in the midst of catching up on schoolwork after some recent travels. In the mean time I’ll be evaluating a more concise theme for the blog. Expect to see some updates (finally!) here eventually, and more cohesive nature in upcoming posts.
